The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) is a leading professional membership organisation representing the interests of alternative dispute practitioners worldwide. Our growing membership of 15,000 is based across 133 countries and supported by an international network of 39 branches.

As a not-for-profit, UK registered charity, CIArb works in the public interest through an international network of 37 branches.

Introduction To Alternative Dispute Resolution

To provide a general understanding of the various methods of dispute resolution which are alternatives to court proceedings, known as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).  

 

Please note: You will also need to register and pay for the assessment separately. Upon successful completion of the assessment, candidates will be eligible for Associate Membership and may continue on the pathway.
